beginnings and endings

we raised a glass to the big girls leaving primary school

we raised another glass to baby Finn and his mother still in hospital

we raised another glass to the welsh boy on his birthday especially when his wife realised he was a year younger than she'd thought

some of us were drinking water

others were drinking wine

(the plus side of being the driver is having the moral high ground the day after)

apart from that i sat in the cafe for the traditional end of term breakfast, sat in church thinking that there was a bit too much Jesus chat, sat in C's kitchen eating pancakes and listening to some school chat, then failed to deal adequately with my kids knackered bad behaviour)
