Bandelier National Monument, New Mexico

Bandelier National Monument is around 10,000 years old and an abundance of caves and petroglyphs (rock drawings) still exist in the rock. It is an incredible site, accessed by trails and long wooden ladders it is possible to go right up to the caves where the ceilings are discoloured from the soot of fires lit so long ago by the Ancestral Pueblo people.

We left the trails just as it got dark and the snow started to fall. Hot spiced rum infused cider is currently helping me catch up with my blips!

Bowling tonight!
