Happy Birthday Birdie!

Happy Birthday to Mr H!

In a birthday spectacular, Woody the green woodpecker has come to visit. The snow has come, too. I have a day off for the birthday and so has Mr H.

These are all fabulous birthday good things. Later there will be fizzy wine and/or beer depending on the mood and my signature dish, the mushroom and butterbean stroganoff.

On the not so good birthday things. The ancient and dodgy central heating is playing up and so Mr H has gone to the plumbing shop. There is talk of actuators and special screwdrivers and, oh jings, a bit of do it himself fixing....

Looking forward to hopefully warm and cosy house later and a bit of celebratory overindulgence.

(Woody was far down the garden and I had the lean away window open using the tripod. It was frrrrrezzzing.)
