Very interesting history, I had to look it up on 'Google'. I have climbed right to the top. When I was a child, and you can see right over the island!

Victoria Tower
Following several stages of extensive renovation the Victoria Tower is now once again open to the public. Victoria Tower is a prominent St Peter Port landmark, built in the 19th Century it symbolises Guernsey's links to the English Crown.
