Our life in the Borders

Tweeddale sheep

At last, the sun, lighting up the snowy landscape. I wandered along the road, everywhere seeing photos in my mind. I tried several scenic shots of sheep, but, although they stoically ignored the traffic at my back, I had only to raise my camera for them to turn their backs and present me with various fluffy rear ends, dyed in a variety of colours.

So I've settled for this one, not much of a structure to the shot, but it gives the feel of the view. Beyond the trees, the River Tweed flows, and then the hills rise up on the other side of the valley.
