Hopping around!

Dropping in at Anglesey Abbey

Bigger drip!

Today we have visited Anglesey Abbey. The weather gave us a bit of the white stuff this morning, and I don't mean milk, and later it was wet. As soon as there was a glimmer of sunshine, off we went.

We had a dander round the winter walk. There are always amazing plants and some great sculptures to see, although some of the sculptures were all wrapped up in their winter coats. I guess to stop frost/weather damage.

Being adventurous types we took off on the 'Wildflife Discovery Trail' and found all sorts of things. Fungus, a fragrant garden, a story telling circle, an activity centre for making things. At the wildlife spotting hide we saw loads of blue tits, flitting back and forth and making little chirruping noises.

Then I went for a first ever wee in a 'Kazuba loo', an eco-friendly composting toilet. You are very lucky that I didn't blip that.
