One dog and his ball

Having taken just one crappy photo all day I thought Id better take a camera out with me on Scamps walk. Planning to go along the tricky to negotiate river bank path I thought better of the dslr's bulk and pocketed the compact instead.

A lack of imagination on my part and control on the cameras meant this rather uninspiring shot of Scamp was my best result.

The ball was a lucky find at the rivers edge. Later, it became marooned on a ice lake - Though light enough to, Scamp was scared to walk the ice to get it and the water was too deep for my wellies to allow me to wade in. Hope it is still there tomorrow night
