Flock

These small birds floating in this section of the Ship Canal at 11 this morning were in the very same spot when I went past in the later afternoon. I find this staying in place very curious and interesting! Our family flock all took off in their separate directions this morning, which also struck me as interesting in pondering family and gathering.
