BLUEBELL

A year ago today my Mum took charge of Bluebell, a tiny, nervous 12 year old female blue-point Siamese who had been left behind by her emigrating owners. We all thought it would be lovely for two elderly ladies to have each other for company. It was then four months before Bluebell emerged from the back of the airing cupboard, except for midnight forays for food and litter tray visits, and we all thought it had been a terrible mistake to take her on. However, she ventured forth eventually and now they happily keep each other warm in front of the TV every evening.

This will probably be my only cat blip.
