Running out of Light

It was icy, rainy, cloudy and misty all day up in Perthshire. We enjoyed a night in the spa last night as I'd organised a babysitter for Miss42. This morning we had her booked in to the creche so we could go for a (soggy) walk along the bank of the River Earn.

But it was lovely too.

My almost blip today was of the cathedral-like Beech trees along the river. But this evening while Miss42 and Mrs42 were enjoying the soft play the clouds lifted and the scenery was fantastic. But the light was in short supply. Which kind made it even more atmospheric.
