The vast majority of photogear I've accumulated has been secondhand. Today a brand new lens arrived in the post... it was cheap "inexpensive" (always sounds posher), supposed to be good though. Tomorrow I'll be seeing a much wider view of the world, albeit highly distorted...

Being a sad individual, I checked my work e-mail just after 22:00. Found that we (the Technical folk) were sent a message at 20:05, informing us that we're to have a meeting tomorrow at 10:00. It's in connection with our (employment) review. Back on the 10th August we learned that we were to be "...looked at, over the next two to three weeks."

Over four months later, and we receive the very first bit of information regarding the process. There have been no interviews, as yet.

Best not express my feelings as regards the handling of this. I suspect most of those affected wouldn't normally check their e-mail until some time after the initial morning rush, and well after the meeting.

There might be some Christmas cheer! Gulp...
