Liquor licence

Was today's main event the opening of the Hyatt in Capital Gate at last, or the receiving my liquor licence?

I was expecting a high quality piece of plastic like Dubai's licence. Instead I received a bit of cardboard with my photo Pritt sticked on the back. There are a few pages attached to note down my purchases.

The lady waited for the glue to dry before giving me the licence. She was not the prettest girl, perhaps she was hoping for a pair of beer-goggles.

Off to the booze shop this afternoon to spend upto 2000 dirhams (350 quid)
