Loaded up with power

One of the many uses of the national & state parks in NSW is as a corridor for power lines.

Spanning a gully of several hundred metres these massive towers carry the load of weight and strain from the power lines which in turn carry the load of power to/from the central coast.... In truth I'm no sure which way the power goes with these lines. I suspect power is generated on the central coast and comes south towards Sydney. If any blippers know? I'd love to find out so I may have to do some research.

powerup and see the LARGE version

Went for another ride around the streets and bush this afternoon. Lazy morning not really doing much because the rain set in and only cleared late afternoon. The idea of going to the shops, movies etc so close to Christmas doesn't appeal in the slightest
