Penguins on speed

Another busy day but not at work. Turned up at Bowers the butchers in Stockbridge at 8.45 to be the 30th in the cue to collect the turkey.

We now have a three bird bird in the fridge that is 5Kg of pure meat. Est 4 hours cooking time. God!!!

Made another 24 mice pies with mums home made mincemeat. total of 84 this year. Close to triple figures. Should get there after the next batch for the gannets coming at new year.

Made a Quiche for tea as well and bought some fudge from the Fudge House on the royal mile.

This evening was spend decorating the Christmas cake. We now have 11 penguins on and around the cake. Most of them looking like they are on a night out after having too much speed.

There is 1/2 a bottle of brandy in the cake so they should have a good night out while sitting on top of it.
