Slow season

Christmas time is the slow season for the students selling punting tours in Cambridge. They stand around wrapped up warm and looking bored trying to tempt tourists. The punts are chained up and full of litter but the river is still beautiful.

I managed to take this shot before the rain came bucketing down. Matt arrived from London and we spent to afternoon trying to get the last of our shopping struggling with bags and brollies.
