Last-minute making and doing

George and Andy have been making a papier-mâché train as a surprise present for their grandad. This morning they were arguing about whether to paint it green or blue; they eventually went with green (George's choice) with blue (Andy's choice) highlights.

The funny thing is, although George eventually got things mostly his way, they took so long deciding, he looked like he thought Andy had won.

I iced the Christmas cake, to a design Mo found. It turned out OK in the end, but I tell you, penguin eyes are fiddly.
