Orchid

The team went to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum today. It was very neat there, but we were scheduled to spend about six hours there, so my family wandered off to the National Botanic Gardens. I took waaaay too many shots of incredible flowers (mostly in the jungle area). The place was humid but cool and a great break from the dry, scorching sun outside! It was absolutely beyond words - you have to go there to understand.
