Rejoice, Emmanuel!

The recent devastation wrought by a strong typhoon in the southern part of the Philippines has dampened the celebrations around the country. And yet, we hear stories of faith, courage and even miracles that strengthen one's belief in the Almighty.

As we celebrate Christmas, may we not forget the reason for this season. May we ponder on the more important things in our lives and refuse to be distracted by the non-essentials. May we always find ourselves grateful of the many blessings that we take for granted.
