Home for the Holidays

My parents actually live not very far from where I live now, so I go back quite often. Christmas is a time for reflections and time with friends and family. It hit me today that this crabapple was planted 31 years ago this coming spring when my brother and I were born to shade the backyard. The last 30 years have brought maturity to all of us.
