Antidote

Just like thousands of Adelaidians (if that's what you call us) we set off quite early in the morning to hit the shops. I was planning to buy only one pair of shoes, which I did, but also managed a few garments. The rest of the family came with souvenirs too.

Early start = early finish

So we had plenty of time to have lunch at home - pierogi leftovers from Christmas Eve and a walk on the beach. Weather seemed a bit threatening, but turned out just perfect. Pleasant breeze, no blasting sun, water warm enough for wading and a dog soak, not a lot of people. And back home with plenty of time for reading (check out yesterday's journal), mince pies, wine, blipping. Unfortunately no time for getting ready for a working day, that will have to wait till tomorrow.
