Anzac Bridge

I have always liked Anzac Bridge. I like it's lines and would love to be able to take shots going over it but I need to have a think about how that can be done without serious traffic chaos. It was opened in 1995 and so it probably one of the youngest bridges in Sydney. It spans Johnson's Bay. The bridge was given its current name on Remembrance Day in 1998 to honour the memory of the soldiers of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who served in World War I. An Australian Flag flies atop the eastern pylon and a New Zealand Flag flies atop the western pylon. It is a span cable-stayed bridge.

Back to Newcastle tomorrow for a few days before coming back to Sydney for the big party on Saturday night!!
