Temporary home

The winter weather has been kind to us in the main this year. However the ladybirds are still to be found sheltering amongst the vegetation in cracks and crannies and some have even grouped together inside the backdoor. This one was crawling into the dead broken stalk off a cow parsley in the garden near the beech hedge.

Tonight we have invited a few friends in for a drink in front of the fire.
