Boathouse, Lake of Menteith

Out this morning for a look around as the weather was greatly improved. We drove up from Stirling to Lake of Menteith just to see if anything was happening. Not a lot really! We could hear and just about see numerous geese way off on the far side but no way of approaching without getting spotted. However, I liked to look of this old boathouse the reeds and the trees, all reflected in the slightly ripply water.
Later we drove down from Thornhill across Flanders Moss towards Kippen looking for the swans and geese we had seen a few days ago. Sadly they had sloped off elsewhere but we spotted a large gaggle of greylag geese a little further on. We stopped and got out of the car expecting them to exit sharply but they hung around for a moment or two before leaving like this.
