Traffic on the M62

There had clearly been an accident here... lots of ambulances and police cars flying past and whilst it's frustrating being stuck in traffic I always hope the accident isn't too serious.

When we finally passed the accident scene (which was on the other carriageway) the damage didn't look too severe. Yes, the cars were seriously messed up and probably written off but they weren't completely mangled in a way that'd make you think the people who were inside were fatally/seriously injured. I hope that was the case.
