Squirk Holmes

A fun-packed day! L and I breakfasted in St Pancras station then walked to the British Museum where there were a few events on for Architectural Week. After a bit of successful shopping on Oxford Street, we headed up to 221b Baker Street to visit the Sherlock Holmes museum. It's quite strange having a museum dedicated to someone who's fictional, and there wasn't anything about Arthur Conan Doyle. However, L and I had plenty of deerstalker, bowler hat and pipe photo opportunities - hilarious! I'm really trying hard not to burst into laughter in this pic.

We walked back to St Pancras along the canal, stopping for an ice cream at Primrose Hill. The new baby warthog at London Zoo could be seen wandering around with his parents. This part of the zoo can be seen for free from the canal.

As soon as we returned home, we left to meet up with some friends for dinner. It was a great, and late, night.
