They say blackbirds mimic other sounds, starlings mimic too - other birds, there's one in my garden who sounds not unlike a buzzard. But robins mimic too! Not only body language, like Lil' Larry pretending to be a wren here - but sounds too, today he sounded like a chaffinch, followed by a chiff chaff, I think I've just discovered something quite extraordinary - do robins in fact mimic other birds? Has this ever been recorded? Anyone? Should I get excited here?
