Good King Wences Last Looked Out...

It's Boxing Day, The Feast of Stephen, or the day when I thought Good King Wences last looked out... and always thought it was a shame that he met an untimely death on this day. Of course nowadays I know his surname is Wenceslas and am glad he lived to see another day!

I made this Nativity scene about 17 or 18 years ago.

It's based on the illustrations from Dick Bruna's 'The Christmas Book'. When we were little, every Christmas, we had paintings of the same nativity in our vestibule, which my Mum had created with one of her classes. So this year I gave Big Sis the book for her Chrimbo. I think she liked it! :)
