Waxing cresent

Distance to the moon 394,458 km, illumination 27.3%, moonrise 10.41am, moonset 11.13pm.
I was lucky enough to make the spotlight with yesterday's blip, i set off to find the sunset but was met with cloud, so had to get my thinking cap on.
