From the Bottom to the Top

One of my regular bike rides ends with a long gradual uphill from the floor of a wooded gorge to the open space at the top of the park where you can look out at the hills from the very edge of the city.

This is about a quarter of the way up. It gets a little steeper once you cross the main road, just out of sight here.
