Leaves

I have admired this plant in front of our patio since we arrived, but today when I noticed the flower that had dropped from an upstairs apartment I knew the time had come to capture the image. I loved the color combination and worked hard to create a pleasing composition. I found that when I viewed it on the computer, the image benefited from further cropping to eliminate some of the out of focus leaf that was not as visible in the viewfinder.
