After an early rise to put Colm on the bus, I had a pretty lazy day -for me.
And I've just returned from a good meal out with a neighbour. What decadence.


Colm went up to Cork to go ice skating with his girlfriend, Michelle; Fionn invited his girlfriend round; Aidrus turned up and made a start at re-laying the floor in the long shed; I cooked them all a dinner and washed up ; I taught a new student for an hour this morning; I finished a really good book; I barrowed several barrows of dung down to the dung heap through the mud.

It felt like a lazy day -probably because I spent some time indulging in my book.
It was wet, windy and gloomy all day.
