Boats In Coats

I really thought we'd never get out today. Last night and this morning were horrible - wind howling, rain lashing down - enough to wake me up more than once. However, bed was comfy & warm and a difficult place to leave.

We sallied forth when we thought we'd have a chance at a walk round the Hafen and we were really lucky. Lots and lots of threatening clouds that backed off and the wind stopped being a vindictive knife. It was, um, fresh. And as you can see from today's Blip, people are preparing for the worst of the weather that will undoubtedly come our way. I quite liked this.

Other news is I enjoyed my first struggle with my new software. Apparently I mangle the word "Geschichte"* really badly. I don't really but it's half the fun of this software.

And last night we went for a meal with K&V. I felt a bit sorry that it was all a bit of a disappointment (the food not the company). However, K showed me this song and I've had it in my head for today.
