Light and Dark

I just read 'The Enchantress of Florence' by Salman Rushdie. It was fantastic. I had not read any Rushdie before this, and I think this was a good start. It was beautiful. I plan on reading more of his work now. Off to the bookstore this afternoon!

The book has made me want to go to both Florence and India more than ever! Thankfully next year I will be going to one of those places for a long time. There are so many times during a day that I dream of getting out of Ohio. I want to live in a busy city, see the world, be around great art, interact with more people....oh I can't wait to graduate sometimes.
