Time

This is the About Time, a ridiculously complicated, barmy and very silly board game. We've played it a few times since it was bought for history-mad son number one. We've decided that a knowledge of history may sometimes help but with the fortunes of the game (duels and plague), you can be winning one moment and ruined by the next. Son number one teamed up with his dad and won eventually but it was a close-fought contest. The date of the South Sea bubble was the killer winning question!

Good to have the whole family in the same room being silly.
Even managed to cook the recipe that was intended for Christmas lunch this evening.....

Delivery of a case of wine from my mum should set us up nicely for 2012.
