Fallen away

Out on a walk today I came across fallen away earth.

I took the picture because I like the contrast of red earth and blue sky but it got me thinking - usually when something is "broken" like this it is then ruined...ugly...forgotten..

But I quite like it - flaws are what make things them, it gives us character.
