Eve Muirhead

I didn't expect to get a Blip of one of our top Sports personalities today.  This is Eve who is a top Curler and was World junior champion in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011. In 2010 she was too busy with the Olympics and World Championships.  

In addition to being a world class curler she is a scratch golfer and could have turned professional, and a first class bagpiper.  Still only 19 - how can one person be so talented?!

She is pictured here in George Square Glasgow where Curling is one of he Hogmanay activities.  Unlike Edinburgh who are having an amazing street party Glasgow have given into austerity and are holding a much reduced event which will be over by 10pm!

To make things worse the 2pm, 3pm and 4pm Curling sessions were cancelled for some reason.  The pro photographers were asking Eve to pose looking suitably miserable, but I decided on a quick Blip when she was smiling.
