Happy new camera to meeeeee. :)

Yes, I finally made one of my dreams come true....I bought myself a new camera...a proper grown up one. Now all I have to do is learn to use it (and buy some more lenses as I love macro and I want to take a photo of the moon)

So, just a few questions to keep you going over the new year celebrations....

Do you keep your lense attached to the camera body or do you lovingly put it away each night in a seperate bed? (I've only got the one at the moment)
What are the best lenses for a newbie?
How on earth do I learn all this stuff?
