NOT a good policy

I don't understand why one can't leave a bike locked in an appropriate place (bike locking station) overnight. Sometimes I've had to bike to the ITC (Intermodal Transportation Center) and leave my bike there while I was on an overnight trip to Dallas. How can it be a problem to leave a bike overnight? Ugh. Sometimes I think the people who make decisions about these things have no experience as a commuter-bicyclist.
