Open pod surgery

My ipod has been on the blink recently, so I thought I'd try a new battery in the the allegedly non-user-servicable wee sod...

Here's a direct lift from the battery's instruction leaflet about getting the cover off:

"NOTE: this is by fat [sic] NOT an easy process. Expect to fail repeadedly. Sometimes, a thumbnail is necessary to begin the process. If the included tool becomes damaged, you can resharpen it using a razor knife - don't cut yourself!"

Sounds like a right barrel of laughs 8-/

Nice of them to be concerned about one's fingers though, eh?
