Happy New Year

We decided to wander along, with some friends, to see the fireworks in central London. We got to Blackfriars Bridge and hit the edge of the massive crowd just as they started.
They were magnificent, or at least we assume they were going by the sound, but unfortunately the smoke built up very quickly and made them mostly invisible from where we were.
Still, we had a nice wander along the Thames and back and got wished a Happy New Year by lots of people, so not an entire waste of time.
