Happy New Year

I don't see how any year that starts with a hearty sing song with fine friends, accompanied by Carl and MrB can be anything other than magnificent.

Well, there was a slightly less than magnificent period first thing but a bracing walk along the river, a hearty lunch and an afternoon on the sofa watching Downton Abbey (again) has set the dial back to magnificent.
