The new kennel

Bucking the trend of a lot of the country the coast had another scorcher today. I am beginning to think that the coasters just tell the rest of the country that it rains all the time so they don't come and settle here.

Doug built Kea a kennel with porch today, as you can see she seemed to know it was hers and even although it wasn't finished yet she was lying in the shade of the porch. She is recovering well although she spent most of yesterday and today asleep and we only need to put the collar on if we are not paying attention to her otherwise she won't touch her stitches.

I here that it wasn't a good night back home and that everyone had little sleep, hope it's quiet tonight.
