Pi d´en Xandri

This is " El pi d´en Xandri" a living symbol of my town.

I have plenty of memories around this tree: as a child, as a teenager and as a young woman. We have history...

A few years back, the tree was badly damaged in a fire. The sticks around it (and some concrete) are there to attempt to save the tree. It´s such an iconic image of the town that no one that has grown around it wants to see it disappear.

I have put a picture of the whole tree with a more orthodox angle if any one wants to see.
