Everyday Problems

Now it's everyday again and time to have some hot dogs after the Holidays.
On the left corner it says: OPNIÐ HÉR or Open Here, with your bare hands - but it never works, you always have to CUT of the end and open it.
But they never give up - do they!
Actually, this time I was lucky and could open it with my bare hands - at the right end as seen on the photo - so - either the Open here is on the wrong end, or this was my lucky day of the year and 365 bad days to come as this is a leap year.
