Today I've been road testing a new camera, a Canon 350D and very nice it is too. Great handling and producing nice results.
The difficulty I have is that you lose the immediacy of the compact. A DSLR is fine, and the quality and control is amazing. but it seems it more about 'photography'.
For me Blip is really a diary of sorts - for the most part I only take a picture of a place or an event that I would have been involved in anyway whether or not I had a camera. The camera adds new dimension to the experience. But I do think that maybe, with the bigger camera I would go out to take photographs for there own sake.
Good or bad, who knows - mmmmm confused.
