Morocco Trip day 8 - Up the pass

We were taken up the pass to the East of Imlil to the neighbouring valley. On the way up we saw a new reforestation project implemented by the king to stop flash flooding and soil erosion. The plan had had a detrimental affect on the local farmers but it was definitely looking more healthy.

We ended up at the top of the pass at over 8000 foot where the pic is from with 5 of the crew. We were then dished up a picnic and the ubiquitous peppermint tea from a bothy.
