Remains of Honing Station, M&GN

The ruined platforms of Honing Station on the M&GN, now over-grown and on the route of the long-distance Weaver's Way foot-path.

The fencing on the left is the typical M&GN cross-hatched design and is the one remnant of this single-trakc main-line that connected the Midlands with Norfolk and the resorts of Cromer and Great Yarmouth.

Honing station served the agricultural hinterland around the station.
