De-Christmassed

Woken pretty early this morning with the wind. That'll teach us to let the kids make the Chilli last night.

Packed away Christmas for another year in the afternoon. So many boxes for what's felt like so few days the speed they've went past. Think that might be partly down to all the long lies and the lack of seeing much daylight over the past 12 days. I can understand why some species like to hibernate through this time of year.

Day 5 without our land-line working and little sign of progressing the fault further other than BT saying it's somewhere in their network. It takes 10 minutes to (sometimes) load up the fault tracking page through the chronic GSM connection on my phone, or 10 minutes to wrap up and head outside and find a spot that receives a tethered connection but the page hasn't been updated since Friday afternoon* so I've given up on that.

The good thing that's came out of not having any internet (aside from being able to spend more quality time with the family obviously) is not constantly checking up on social networks and websites (blipfoto included). The bad thing that's came out of not having any internet (aside from having to spend more quality time with the family obviously) is not being able to constantly check up on social networks and websites (blipfoto included).

*Just had a message from BT - they 'hope' to have the problem resolved by Friday at 5pm. That's service for you.
