There will be a lot of food on this 365 journey. Partly because I do almost all of the cooking in this house, and partly because I'm interested in product photography. And partly because on some days I'll be tired from work and lacking in creativity.

Today's shot is of the diminutive bird-eye chilli. Tiny but brutal, I use them a lot in cooking for their fierce heat and clean flavour. (The hotter Scotch Bonnet has a side flavour that is not as pleasant to me)

You can see the frost markings on the chilli because we keep them in the freezer. Then they can come out on an as-needed basis. As the five in tonight's dinner did.
