Big Waves Again

Like just about everywhere else in the British Isles, we were buffeted by the wind on the South Coast, including huge amounts of rain carried in on violent squalls - it led to roads being turned into rivers and ponds in Newhaven.
The sky cleared quickly in the afternoon and I got to the beach to look at the sea. The waves were crashing but the tide was pretty low so not as spectacular as I'd hoped for but not bad.
We still have all the tiles on the roof though they were performing a jig up there last night. I go home tomorrow - hopefully our house still has it's full complement of roof tiles, walls and windows.
